Abstract:
The article is devoted to an integrated approach to the study of processes of precarization in the world and Russia. The author shows that depending on the used methodology and identify of the precarization's source, the phenomenon of formation of a new social class - prekariata - will be assessed (qualitatively and quantitatively) differently. Various research concepts, putting into focus the role of public policy, or economic and technological change, or transformation of attitudes, will operate by various aspects of precarization.
