Abstract: The article is devoted to the «development» of N.M. Karamzin’s political preferences that is associated with the three phases of its gradualwithdrawal from the system of values and goals of the Masonic «Westerners», based on the revolutionary dismantling of Russia as the center of the Slavic-Orthodox civilization in favor of the management model, similar to the ideology «samobytnichestva».
