Abstract:
The article questions the conventional wisdom regarding the imminent exhaustion of mineral resources and mineral and energy resources. The development of modern technological solutions will allow improving the completeness and comprehensiveness of resource use and significantly prolonging the depletion of specific fields. In addition, scientific and technical solutions, which open the possibility of the development of the vast resources of unconventional hydrocarbons, will contribute not only to the expansion of the national mineral resource base, but also to improvement of the efficiency and-competitiveness of the national economy as a whole.
