Nation building or empire building: fork approaches

V. E. Bagdasaryan ()

Outlines of global transformations: politics, economics, law, vol. 7, issue 1

Abstract: The author argues that the world is entering a new phase - empire building. New empire, of course, different from the traditional type of empires, but the essential civilization core is not canceled. Most states in the mo dern world are devoid of geopolitical subjectivity. They represent around destructed new imperial civilizational core periphery. In the event that Russia will adhere to its anachronistic century concept of nation-states, it condemns it to the geopolitical role of an outsider.
