Abstract: In the period between the two world wars most countries started reforms in the system of state-owned economic institutions. After the end of the First World War, the reorganization of the Bulgarian institutions engaged in foreign trade began. In the current article are presented the more important administrative and managerial aspects related to their activities and participation in the overall organization of the foreign trade of Bulgaria in the period 1919-1939.
