La capacité de l'industrie roumaine de faire face aux exigences de l'intégration dans les structures économiques de l'Union Européenne

Corneliu Russu ()

Revista de Economie Industriala (Journal of Industrial Eonomics), 2004, vol. 2, issue 1, 12

Abstract: Starting from the conclusions drawn by the Annual Report 2002 of the European Commission concerning the progress Romania has made towards accession, the paper highlights: structural changes which have taken place during the last ten-zear period in the Romanian manufacturing industry and in its export; intensity and orientations of domestic and, especially, direct foreign investments; contribution of the R&D activities to the improvement of industrial competiveness. Concluding that the Romanian industry still has a weak capacity to face the competitive pressures of the Single European Market, the paper recommends some measures to improve the activity in the tackled fields.
