Abstract: Choosing as starting point the present Romanian-Russian economic relations the paper points out their insufficient development and forecasts a series of concrete ways of improving them with the view of Romania's integration into European Union. The paper also stresses the necessary policy directions and actions in creating favorable economic environment and framework for Romanian producers aiming at exporting in Russian Federation.
