Abstract: After 1990, the Romanian authorities have carried out a series of major actions in order to improve the existing infrastructure and network of communication and services. In this field, Romania has registered serioux gaps compared with the EU countries. The paper present the analysis of communications sector in Romania by taking into account various indicators: regional population, telephony subscriptions, TV subscriptions, postal services etc.
