Abstract:
The paper highlights the progress and delays registered by Romania in the process of harmonizing its industrial and complementary policies (concerning competition, research ( development activities, regional development, small and medium sized enterprises, international trade, environment protection) to their correspondent policies of the European Union. Details about directions on which efforts should be intensified in order to successfully finalize this process are also brought up.
