Abstract: In the market economy companies actions are animated by competition. The fighting spirit of the firms has stimulated the search and the development of solutions in order to surpass their competitors. The paper illustrates the firms' behavioral evolution in the struggle for survival in the process of gradual development of the competitive market economy.
