Managementul unitatilor industriale românesti în perspectiva integrarii în UE

Corneliu Russu ()

Revista de Economie Industriala (Journal of Industrial Eonomics), 2004, vol. 2, issue 3, 5

Abstract: After 1990, Romania's economic reform has engendered new challenges - commercial, strategic, technological, psychological and cultural - to the industrial units' management. These challenges imposed noticeable efforts to managers for adapting themselves to new realities and answering adequately to these challenges. Their efforts have been hampered by maintaining some conceptual, attitudinal and practical models, currently used until 1990. Consequently, the answers of Romanian industrial units' managers to market economy specific challenges are, roughly speaking, still poor, requesting further efforts for reaching the level of professional management practiced in the European Union's countries.
