Abstract:
In the communications area, the limits of the natural monopoly have been restricted, as the specific markets of peripheral equipments and services were liberalized. Romania, in the context of its accession in the European Union, has made major efforts to support this trend, and the European recognition of these efforts, in our opinion, was the finalization of the 19th Chapter of the negotiation process by the end of the year 2002.
