Abstract:
The hydrocarbon industry faces a complex process, both of organizational and functional restructuring, and of change of property form. All these processes have induced and continue to influence the economic performances of this industry, the increase of its competitiveness being the major goal aiming at the integration into the EU. In this respect, Romania must consider important many-sided efforts. Among these, complying with the EU environmental requirements represents a key factor for the hydrocarbon industry.
