Abstract:
In the last two decades, the industrial policies of the large majority of countries, mainly of developed countries, oriented themselves towards developing the competitiveness of their industrial activities, of providing a high labor force occupation and an improvement of the life standard. For Romania, a country with a deficit of social-economic development, a country that aiming at being a member of the European Union, the implementation of effective policies aiming at rising the competitiveness and performance of the Romanian industry, it is a vital requirement for the achievement and maintenance of a high rhythm of economic development. This is the only way to reduce the deficit mentioned above and to fully gain from the integration in the European structures.
