Abstract: Delocalization is probably, the most important international trend in the industrial management over the past decade. Particularly, in Romania, this issue has been recently very often raised by the policy-makers here. What is delocalization, in which industries this phenomena is most likely to appear, which are its main causal factors and effects on the economies as well as the main challenges and opportunities for Romania are issues discussed by the author within this serial of articles.
