Abstract:
This scientific approach, as a component of the national program CERES, aims to assess the economic efficiency assessment of new bio-active, insect based, substances, in order to produce keratolitic compounds utilised in medicine and cosmetics. This process respects the specific international standards and ensures the environmental protection. The project's viability is a consequence of the new path revealed in dermatology and cosmetics. The present feasibility study proves that the realisation in Romania of bio-active substances drawn out from insects is economically and environmentally efficient.
