Abstract: The increase of firm adapting capacity in the context of the permanent changes which interfere in the economic environment compulsorily implies the launch of some wide restructuring procedures and the assuming of those approaches that provide more effectiveness. In this article there are offered the alternatives that firms have at their disposal for the retargeting strategy's implementation, the weaknesses of the protective restructuring being also presented.
