Abstract: The energetic and economical crisis and environment's degradation represent alarm signals for those who are responsible for a sustainable and viable development. The entropic degradations which the economical, social and biological processes and the whole biosphere are exposed to, have led to a new program initiated by the American scientist of Romanian nationality Nicholas Georgescu-Roegen, followed by other eminent economists spread throughout the world.
