Abstract: Eco-labelling in paper industry is one of the outstanding measures adopted in the EU, as well as worldwide, in order to reduce and to eliminate the unsustainable structures and to achieve a sustainable development and a higher life quality for the people entitled to have a healthy and productive life harmonized with the nature. In this paper, we present paper product groups covered by the legislation, as well as the criteria, the principles and the main regulations to be implemented in the Romanian paper industry.
