Abstract:
This article draws the attention to the most important trends regarding the policy on promoting innovation in the European Union countries. These involve high significance accorded to skilled labor, national and international cooperation, increasing regional and entrepreneurial involvement and public markets regulation. They also include the building up of a favorable economic environment and the public-private partnership development.
