Abstract: The transport infrastructure's modernization and development constitutes a priority for the Romanian Society. The competition in the field is particularly strong at the level of the European Union. The dimension of the Romanian market and the conditions which are specific to this country are directly influencing the competition on transport market. To align to the European requirements in the field of transport means not only to implement the European legislation in the field but also to achieve the technico-economic parameters which can bring the transport infrastructure to the European level.
