Abstract: This paper presents a synthesis of the research efforts made by the consortium that encompasses the Centre for Industry and Services Economy, the Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest, the Institute of Engineering, Research, Design for Environmental Equipment and Technologies, the Institute for Computers and the Romanian-American University of Bucharest, for the elaboration of the first stage of the project titled "The impact of public utilities prices dynamics on national economy and its main vulnerable sectors. Assessment, modelling and forecast".
