Abstract: The present scientific steps, a component part of the Excellency Program with the title "Productivity, salaries, employment and their inter-connection from the perspective of the integration into the European Union" (stage II) in the framework of CERES National Program, proposes a new approach of productivity increase modalities, as the main resort of competitiveness, at various levels - micro, mezzo or macroeconomic - as well as the analysis of the numerous variables that are directly or indirectly conditioning it.
