Abstract:
Alienation has been empirically studied as dissatisfaction. In this article data are offered on the degree of satisfaction of partners in agrarian cooperatives in Andalusia (1994 questionnaire) and Malaga (1974 questionnaire). The degree of satisfaction with the way these cooperatives are run is also analysed. Finally, the alienation of partners in cooperatives in Andalusia (1990) and Malaga (1974) is analysed by considering the different types of feelings which make up alienation: impotence, futility of tasks, estrangement and isolation. Dissatisfaction as far as partnership is concerned is generally lesser than dissatisfaction about management, although both tended to decrease between 1974 and 1990. Alienation, on the contrary, tended to increase.
