Abstract: This work aims to analyse the possibilities and effects of applying different components of information technology in cooperatives, with regard to both enterprises in general (learning, value creation and organisational culture) and the design of new specific technologies for cooperatives to provide information to the members. It is based on information drawn from a survey of credit and citrus fruit cooperatives in the Valencian Community.
