Abstract: The paper was based on Lipstick & Money, A Leonardo da Vinci – Transfer of Innovation project about the entrepreneurship mentality, female entrepreneurs' personal characteristics/competences and motivation. In the first part a statistical overview about the Romanian labour market and female employment and management and women entrepreneurs on it was performed. Female mentality with regard to work and entrepreneurship was described based on literature review. Then, the main challenges of the LIMO implementation in Romania and also the main outcomes are exposed.
