Abstract: Language is both an element and a determining factor of culture, and analysis of linguistic particularities can lead us to a deep understanding of cultural specificity. In this article, we intent to offer a broader perspective of the language-culture relationship, starting with the presentation of some languages’ classifications but also with the connection with other determinant factors of culture.
