Abstract: This article explores the importance of digital technology for the care of elderly in nursing homes. The integration of digital technology in nursing homes has become increasingly pertinent. It's looking to develop evidence on its effects within care sectors of the elderly in nursing homes. In addition, the acceptance, effectiveness, and efficiency in nursing care, along with technology integration within nursing, hold significant implications. Furthermore, digital health technology factors can also either facilitate or hinder the application when implemented in nursing homes, therefore it is important to understand the dynamic of technology adoption. Additionally, the necessity of innovation within nursing homes is reinforced by researchers who advocate for the facilitation of an optimal health outcome. Along with technology's integration there are several benefits like contextual challenges and the ethical issues which need be diligently managed.
