Abstract: In order for an agricultural enterprise to be successful in the long run, it is very important to know and continuously monitor the farming processes, to see the connections and their impact on each other. In a strong economic competition, only a company can survive which responds appropriately to change and takes into account the external and internal environment, analyzes their operation and adapts its decisions accordingly. Accession to the European Union has also created new opportunities for agricultural SMEs, which will greatly affect the success of the business. In my study, I explore the main changes that have taken place since accession through the analysis of the balance sheet data and indicators of these agricultural enterprises.
