Estructura económica, división internacional del trabajo y brechas de ingreso

Revista de Economía del Rosario, 2001, No 4251
Abstract:
Leontief´s vision of "The Structure of Development" (Leontief, 1963) is modeled in this paper. The model is used to examine the relationship between developed and underdeveloped countries in the world markets. Under some conditions, specifically related to the gap in economic diversification, the excess of labour in less developed countries and the existence of international migration restrictions, the model creates a gap in per capita real income between developed and less developed economies.
