Competitividad: concepto y evolución histórica

Abstract: Resumen Este artículo examina los aspectos más relevantes de la competitividad, en lo relativo al marco conceptual y al contexto histórico nacional, desde la época de la colonia hasta el momento actual. Para este propósito, se confrontan los puntos de vista de distintos autores, así como el comporta‑ miento de las instituciones y de las actividades productivas, con los retos del cambio tecnológico y la economía mundial. Abstract This article examines the most important aspects of competitiveness regarding the conceptual fra‑ mework and historical context from the colony age until now. For this purpose, different authors’ points of view the same as the behavior of the institutions and the productive activities are confronted with the challenges of the technological change and the ones of the world economy.
