Abstract: ABSTRACTThe present article leaves of the metropolitan characteristic description ofthe main ones of Bogotá and the calendar of internationalization of thecity foreseen by the Regional Council of Competitiveness, with the purposeof commenting the concepts of Global City and Ciudad Airport, appliedfor the operativización of the Plan Master the Gilding 2025. Likewise,they make an appointment contemporary theories as the New Space Economy, linked the urbanization phenomenon and the understanding of the airports like decisive actors of the step between the global thing and the local thing.RESUMENEl presente artículo parte de la descripción de las principales características metropolitanas de Bogotá y la agenda de internacionalización de la ciudad, prevista por el Consejo Regional de Competitividad, con el fin de comentar los conceptos de Ciudad Global y Ciudad Aeropuerto, aplicados para la operativización del Plan Maestro el Dorado 2025.Así mismo, se citan teorías contemporáneas como la Nueva Economía Espacial, vinculada a los fenómenos de urbanización y a la comprensión de los aeropuertos como actores determinantes del paso entre lo global y lo local.
