Una mirada al comercio exterior colombiano 2009-2012 y al TLC con Estados Unidos un ano después

Abstract: Resumen El artículo presenta una mirada del comportamiento del comercio exterior colombiano en el periodo 2009-2012, donde se evidencia el buen dinamismo de sus exportaciones al crecer 22.4%, sobrepasando a las importaciones que lograron crecer 21.6% en igual periodo, permitiendo consolidar una balanza comercial superavitaria. Sin embargo, aun a pesar del gran crecimiento de las exportaciones se apreciará que su composición no ha cambiado se sigue exportando productos primarios. Así mismo, se hace un análisis del comercio exterior colombiano un ano después de firmado el TLC con Estados Unidos, donde las cifras en materia de exportaciones en este periodo no han sido nada favorables al presentar una caída del -9.7%. ***** Abstract The article presents a look Colombian trade performance in the period 2009-2012 where it is evident a good dynamism of exports achieved when growing 22.4%, outpacing imports which managed to grow 21.6% in the same period evidence, allowing a consolidation a surplus of the trade balance .However, even despite the large growth in exports it is appreciated that its composition has not changed and it is still exporting primary products. Also, an analysis of the Colombian foreign trade is done one year after signing the FTA with the United States where the figures in exports in this period have been less than favorable to present a fall of -9.7%.
