Abstract: In this article, will be presented two, in a certain sense different, but co-existing contexts of development. In the first case, reference point is adopted as a perspective of individuals, their values and expectations related to career paths realization. In the second case employee's career development is connected to organization reality with it's goals, values and procedures. Differences between this two "worlds" are enough relevant for deep reflection and answer the question: what kind of conditions should be met in order to achieve integration perspective? What should be the characteristics of well developed employee (active, aware of the value and importance of developing) and well developed organization (creating condition for employees' development and stimulating them) in order to achieved successfully and in optimal way goals and targets.
