Abstract: Article takes the aim to investigate relations between: the GG size and effects of public spending. To measure the size of the sector will be used financial parameters relating to the disposal of public funds. The results of sector activity will be examined through the different indicators. Their reliance on international rankings, presenting complementary measures combining financial and performance indicators allow to analyze the relationship between the size of the sector and the parameters used as measures of the results of its operations.
