Abstract: The aim of the paper is to analyze and evaluate the activity of non-financial entities in the area of tangible investments. We compare companies operating in the Lodz region with other regions of Poland in the years 2009-2014. Conducting the analysis we use selected economic indicators : eg intensity of investing indicator. The article uses data characterizing the investment activity of non-financial entities in Polish regions in years 2009-2014, published by CSO by Poland.
