Travail et pauvreté chez Marx

Arnaud Berthoud ()

Cahiers d’économie politique / Papers in Political Economy, 2010, issue 59, 141-162

Abstract: The communist society described by Marx includes two characteristics. The first, which is well known, is that poverty vanishes because man becomes wealthy in his labour and by his labour. The second, which is far less known, sees poverty taking on its real meaning because labour expresses everyone’s need for the greatest wealth of all, other people. This article mainly develops this second idea (labour and poverty in Marx’s works).
