Cahiers d’économie politique / Papers in Political Economy, 2012, issue 62, 117-142
Abstract:
The paper is a contribution to the analysis of Institutional Investors, as a source of power in the financial circulation. We propose to analyse the structure of Institutional Investors thanks to the work of John R. Commons with four dimensions: the epistemological foundations of finance as an institution; the models of governance structure based on the three forms of transactions proposed by Commons; Sovereignty as the mode of regulation of institutional investors.
Keywords: Institutional investors; modes of regulation; institutionalist theory; transactions; public pension funds. (search for similar items in EconPapers)
