Abstract:
The main purpose of the research was to determine the relationship between teaching practices and teacher performance in a public educational institution in Piura during 2022. It was a basic, non-experimental study with a descriptive-correlational design. The population and sample consisted of 400 parents, who were given a questionnaire, the data from which were processed using SPSS version 24 software. The results showed a correlation of Rho = 0.833 between the variables, confirming the existence of a strong relationship between their dimensions. It is suggested that future research at the same institution consider other variables associated with the students' educational process in order to strengthen teaching practices and thereby contribute to improving academic performance.
