Abstract:
The article summarizes the issue of assessing the development of the socio-ecological and economic systems of Poland and Ukraine based on groups of global development indicators. The main goal of the study is to conduct a comparative assessment of the development of the socio ecological and economic systems of Poland and Ukraine according to the groups of global development indicators distributed by the World Bank, as well as to identify the main elements of the socio-ecological and economic systems, which were targeted by reforms in Poland in order to take into account the positive experience in the process of forming the policy of post-war reconstruction of Ukraine and acceleration of European integration. The study of available statistical data bases (UN, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Eurostat, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) shows that many indicators offered by these institutions are identical, but there are also a number of differences in the calculation and presentation of a number of indicators. Relevance the solution of this study is that it is important to choose the most appropriate source of data acquisition in accordance with the tasks set before the researcher. It was found that for the assessment of the development of socio-ecological and economic systems, in addition to these three groups of indicators (social, economic and ecological ), which follow from the very name of this system, it is possible to single out additional groups that will supplement or specify the content-semantic load that this concept has in accordance with the theory of systems. comparative analysis and assessment of these indicators; detection of deviations, substantiation of conclusions and proposals for further consideration of experience. The array of statistical data covers the available official data of Poland and Ukraine for ten-year periods starting from 1990 (before the start of market reforms). The object of the study is the socio-ecological and economic systems of Poland and Ukraine. The article presents the results of a comparative assessment of the development of the socioecological and economic systems of Poland and Ukraine, which showed that for Ukraine it is necessary to draw the right conclusions from the negative experience of previous market reforms and take into account the successful experience of Poland in attracting additional foreign direct investments, restoring industrial production , stimulation of the development of progressive technologies, education and science, development of exportoriented industries, etc. The study empirically confirms that Poland has achieved a higher level of development of the socio-ecological and economic system than Ukraine due to effective market reforms. The results of the study can be useful for the formation of the post-war reconstruction policy of Ukraine's economy based on the Polish experience of market reforms before and after joining the EU
