Various aspects of the practical use of information technologies in modeling business processes are considered. In particular, the role and significance of various software tools, such as business process management systems (BPM systems), which allow automating, standardizing and optimizing the enterprise's business processes in accordance with its current needs, have been investigated. The feature of the use of modern communication technologies, such as e-mail, chats, video conferences and specialized joint work platforms, which contribute to the general improvement of communication and cooperation between participants in business processes, is considered. It has been proven that these technologies allow for quick and effective exchange of information, simplify coordination and interaction between various counterparties, as well as between internal organizational divisions of the enterprise. Specialized methods and approaches to modeling business processes based on the application of digital and information technologies, such as BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation), UML (Unified Modeling Language) and other modeling methods, are also considered. It was determined that the correct use of these technologies allows to significantly improve the quality of business process models, as well as to ensure their comprehensibility and documentation, which contributes to the process of automating the execution of these processes. The need for the widespread use of modern information and communication technologies in modeling business processes has been proven by increasing the role of software and communication technologies in ensuring the proper level of efficiency, coordination and cooperation of various structural divisions of the enterprise, which allows to ensure an increase in the financial and economic results of its activities and contributes to the formation of market competitive advantages of the business entity
