Abstract: The statistic analysis of the problems of ecological and economic use of Donbas water resources with the aim of improving the ecological situation, was fulfilled; the attempt to define the possibilities of planning the integrated management of river Sivers’kyi Donets basin, was made. It would surely contribute to the adoption of ecologically and economically considered operative and strategic decisions and lead to the improvement of ecological situation in the country
