Henry George and the Environment
Jürgen G. Backhaus
Journal of the History of Economic Thought, 1991, vol. 13, issue 1, 90-98
Abstract:

In this paper, I wish to argue not only that Henry George made a sound contribution to political economy; I also claim that his analysis is eminently significant for environmental economics today.
