Abstract: The aim of his work is to discuss the traditional view of the Acapulco-Manila business, which so far has been exclusively centered on the silver trade. The significant merchandise trade has been neglected. In the paper we examine de volume and value of ships arriving and departing fron Acapulco, which allows us to have a better knowledge of the «galleon cargo».
