Is There a Need for a World Feminist Movement?

Abstract: In today’s society, gender is still a topical issue and there are still obstacles to the development of women’s status in society. In this paper I explore whether it is necessary to establish a world feminist movement, and I explain the need for a world feminist movement from the perspective of postcolonial feminism.
