Conventional, constitutional and legal recognition of the human right to science in Mexico

Abstract: This study describes the conventional, constitutional and legal standards belonging to the universal, inter-American and Mexican legal systems, which expressly, tacitly or collaterally recognize the human right to science; it sets out the essential elements of said recognition and its preliminary scope. Finally, it discusses the need to clearly establish the specific obligations of the Mexican State with regard to this enabling human right.
