The planning of evaluation in technical education

Abstract:
Context: The evaluation process in technical professional education is organized from a competency-based approach applied to the secondary education curriculum model. Objective: to describe the planning process used for the evaluation of learning in technical professional education. Method: The methodology is of a quantitative cohort, with a descriptive approach, using a previously validate Likert scale. Results: The participation of the student in the selection of evaluation strategies, the emphasis on the evaluation of procedures, and compliance with the regulations defined by the education department. Conclusion: the planning processes of evaluation allow the integration of those involved, enabling the fulfillment of predefined criteria to achieve competency and formative assessment,
