Abstract:
This study proposes a novel mathematical equation which accurately describes the relationship between rotation period, mass, radius and frequency factor of vibration for the Sun, Earth and Moon. The proposed Equation stands for spherical, oblate spheroid Celestial bodies. It is hypothesized that the Sun’s vibration contributes to its rotation about its axis. The Sun, as the central body of the solar system, exerts significant influence on vibration and rotation of other Celestial bodies Earth, Moon which also vibrates in almost same frequency as the sun vibrates. The Sun controls the planets along with their satellites to revolve around it and also rotate about their axis. It has also been observed that due to high magnitude of earthquake, the angular rotation speed of the earth increases and gradually it retains to the original rotation speed. The equation is validated using publicly available data and offers new insights into Celestial mechanics.
