Abstract: The agro-industrial complex of the Belgorod region is the basis for the development of the region. The location of crop production depends on soil and climatic conditions. The article assesses the location of crop production in the Belgorod region in three natural and climatic zones. Recommendations for prospective placement basedon the analysis of production efficiency have been developed.
