Features of the mechanism of state regulation of public purchases: world practice

Abstract: The article discusses the features of legislative regulation, the mechanisms used and the set of methods and techniques used in the world practice of public procurement. Procurement mechanisms and their effectiveness are compared and analyzed on the example of countries such as the United Kingdom, where a centralized system of public procurement is used, Australia, which uses a decentralized system, the Russian Federation, where a contract system is created based on a combination of centralized and decentralized management of public and municipal procurement. The comparative characteristic of procurement mechanisms and applied tools is given.
